Doesn't that verbiage also suggest that what the Verge is reporting is absolutely correct, and Reddit will only comment if they report something that isn't happening?

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but for me, on the row with the vote arrows, to the far right are three vertical dots. Clicking that reveals more options, with one of them being a star. Once a post or comment is starred, I can go to my profile and click the saved button to bring them up.
Or just break out the old Wii Sports and "forget" the wrist strap.
The sad truth. For example, Insta Pot has gone bankrupt recently because they built their stuff too well, and no one needed to buy more than one. Capitalism is the reason we have planned obsolescence and deliberately poor build quality of products.
