Depends on what you're rubbing
"if the batteries have a shorter lifetime than the device" sounds like it could be exploited though, well folks the processor can only last 2 years on these new phones because of (insert random corpo bullshit here)
And that my friend is how docker was born
I do this too, will have a list of todos. There is an atlassian vscode extension that lets you create tickets from todos though so that can be pretty helpful
Oh. Thanks for clearing that up for me
I came up with what I think is a pretty good explanation when trying to explain the beehaw fiasco to a friend last night, here it is copy pastad
Think of it like cell service
You have TMobile, I have Google fi
But we can still talk because they both use 4g
But then Google fi blocked TMobile so I can't talk to you anymore
And if I want to be able to talk to people on TMobile and Google fi I would have to transfer my service to att
But also, the service is free to setup and run on your own
So instead of 3 or 4 big cell carriers there are thousands
Also, some added info: Also, with the fediverse, when you transfer service you can take your data with you Just like you can take your text messages and phone number with you Fediverse meaning all the apps that work this way, like mastodon and ~~Lemmy~~ (at least those ~~two~~ one have data transfers I think)
Edit: can't transfer account
Honestly I've just been completely lost in lemmy today, ive been way more active on here than I ever was on reddit
I've been running it on my primary machine for over 5 years and it's still going strong, not something I was able to say about Ubuntu.
Also, enable the aur in the main package and you can install anything you want from GitHub straight through the package manager, it's magical
have you seen the Charybdis nano? its by the same guy that made that dactyl https://bastardkb.com/charybdis/
How does that solve anything mentioned?
