Well I am sorry to hear about the accident but I would likely have spent the time in a similar way. Hospital TV sucks and there is only so much doom scrolling I can do on my phone.
My problem would be the list of books to read.

I dont mind modding things but honestly wish that the communities where already here so I could just join something active. I figured I would just make it and hope people would join instead of sitting around waiting for someone else to do it.
Im a fan of the different interesting cases as well. I also enjoy seeing other peoples reviews on the devices that I dont personally own. Gives me a good perspective on if I should get it myself.
Ouch. That is one hell of a streak though. Im lucky if I can get a 2 week streak between work and life.
There are several months until the game is even out. It could run like crap now and be great at release or great now and crap at release. Only time will actually tell.
From what I have seen so far not likely. Though it would be nice if users were given some type of warning when attempting to post/comment/reply to defederated instances.
No. Trying to do a search but not coming up with anything helpful currently.
Thanks for the heads up on it. Good future information.
Fully admit I am right there with you. New to Lemmy as well. I have been trying to bring some of my favorite subreddits here which is how I ended up finding this community as well.
Im down to help if you need it. r/bestofredditorUpdates & r/bestoflegaladvice was one of my favorite subs.
I have experience modding subreddits and discord servers as small as 10 people and as large as 20k+ people.
Just as a bit of additional information about me. I have been using Proxmox as a hypervisor on my home server for about a year. Still new with it. I enjoyed using r/proxmox but dont want to support Reddit in the current environment. I saw that there was no dedicated proxmox community on Lemmy so instead of waiting for something that might come later I decided to just start making communities for the things I enjoyed but were missing.
