Depreciate.

I'm going to Depreciate this computer. That means to get its loss of value on taxes....not to shut it down. The word I meant was Deprecate

No gears means limited top speed.

What a stupid article. Usenet has been quietly doing the same thing for decades, it never fell. The real reason Google groups is being shutdown is likely their partnership with Giganews ending. GN freely peered and hosted the content for Googlr, and GN was sold a few years ago.

Vmware requires a lot of messing around.

What are you going on about? VMware and Windows work just fine if you install vmware tools.

[For Terrapin to be viable, the connection it interferes with also must be secured by either "ChaCha20-Poly1305" or "CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC," both of which are cipher modes added to the SSH protocol (in 2013 and 2012, respectively

Well thats easy then, just change your allowed ciphers.

Which are your favorites?

Waymo says its driverless taxis will traverse “a large portion of the city night and day,” covering spots like “the heart of downtown, Barton Hills, Riverside, East Austin, Hyde Park and more.” The company makes no mention of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, where the taxi business is typically the most lucrative.

I don't understand how a driverless car can work when we barely paint lines on our streets, sure as heck can't see lanes in the rain most of the time. Also, how will these things react to the people that like to run up to the front of lines and just cut in without any regard to other's safety, will the smart car just slam on the brakes?

Thoughts? I sure would hate if I lived next to one, luckily not many people would want to stay in southeast Austin.

Tunnel or bed?

Could always use more green spaces as more people move here and our existing parks and waterways fill up.

Let's see if they can still afford rent, or if the new landowners will even offer to renew their lease.

Pretty sure there will be Condos there in no time :(

I saw a clip a couple years back, he goes around Texas and shows some cool things to do. It does have some moments that might only make a child, or someone who is still a child inside laugh. I really enjoyed this episode.

Anyone else like Daytripper? Any favorite episodes?
