Mostly true. I haven’t owned a printer since 2012.

If you are east of the front range cities it pretty much is the Midwest. That makes up about 42% of the state. Seems accurate to me.

I mean you can try and call them by their state but really we’re just American. And we’re selfish enough we claim it exclusively and let other countries in the americas go by their country name or add extra details to the America term

Looks like they fixed that in this meme

I still think Ubuntu or a flavor of it is the right answer for people new to Linux.

New to Linux and chose arch? I know it’s got issues but isn’t Ubuntu still the stupid easy way to run Linux. Steam out of the box, no driver issues.

Data output from manufacturing equipment. Just pick a standard. JSON works. TOML / YAML if you need to write as you go. Stop creating your own format that’s 80% JSON anyways.

I don’t understand why fast food needs its own minimum wage but I’m here for $20/hr in CA.

There are cases where in a head on collision the person not wearing a seatbelt is launched out of the car like a missile killing people in the opposite car.

There are people selling oem keys on eBay for $5-$7. It’s too easy to buy a “legit” key at this point.

I prefer it with bourbon but a sidecar is a fantastic cocktail.

Best greenday album.

There are so many good ways to make a pizza. That said if I had to choose one of them be the best, NY style pepperoni is def a contender.

Tequila sunrise with rosemary simple and mezcal.

2oz mezcal (rayu) 1oz pineapple juice 1/2 oz rosemary simple Cherry and syrup (lazzaroni amaretto)

After hours bar. On the left is purple hot: rum aquavit, toasted sushi rice, evaporated coconut milk, pineapple, lime, and ube. It’s an earthy / citrusy fruity pebbles. On the right is Breakfast club: rum, bitters, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, lime, & half and half. Tastes like rum, banana, and cinnamon.

Homemade Buffalo sauce base with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and buffalo chicken bites on top. I eat it with a side of chunky blue cheese dressing.

Mai Tai from the Backyard in Santa Monica. They make it with Orgeat and light some 151 on fire to give that Carmel taste. It is a great end to the trip.

It was tequila, lemon, thyme syrup, italicus liquor, soda water, and a smoke bubble. It tastes as good as it looks and we definitely got charged the instagram tax for its presentation.

I have been having trouble getting crème de violet anywhere locally so I ordered it from one of my favorite distilleries in Colorado. They have a new amaro so I made a black Manhattan, a gin Martinez, and a paper plane. This amaro is very herbal so the paper plane was a wash but the other two were quite good.

This weeks pizza is one we don’t do very often but is always a crowd pleaser. Grilled chicken, charred broccoli, and shredded carrots. The base is homemade Thai chili sauce. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s delicious.

Apparently it’s a different crème de violet they use. I’m just happy I can get one right now.

I can’t get crème de violet or yellow chartreuse so I guess it’s time to move on to fall cocktails. This is 1/2 oz Aperol, 1/2oz coffee liquor, and 2oz dry gin. It’s a really satisfying drink that toes the line between refreshing and something heavier like a Manhattan or Martinez. For the coffee liquor I’m giving a shout out to elevation 5003 in Fort Collins. Honestly, their crème de violet, coffee liquor, and felernum are better than anything I’ve tried. I’ve moved 2 states away and still call in orders to be shipped (their cbd bitters aren’t bad either).

Another week, another pizza.

When we moved to Colorado 6 years ago I complained so much about the quality of the pizza my partner took up making pizza from scratch. We now make pizza at home once a week. This is one of my favorites along with pepperoni, Buffalo chicken, and Hawaiian.
