Thank you! Surprising lack of competition.
There is actually an ongoing discussion on GitHub about caching/proxy-ing image resources to improve performance and hide user IPs, etc.:
For the Legendary Amulet from Seasons of the Dragon you do not need all Living World Achievements. Not even close. Getting "Aurora" (the LS3 trinket/earring) requires a lot more achievements, basically Mastery in all LS3 chapters. Same for "Vision" (the LS4 trinket/earring).
The only (maybe) annyoing thing about the amulet is that (depending on when you started) you may need to replay (many) Living World story chapters you completed before the Return to ... achievements have been added to the game.
Not even the Legendary Amulet which you basically get from playing through Living World Season 2, 3, 4 and Icebrood Saga?
I'm surprised, too. Also libreddit and teddit are still working. Looks like both Twitter as well as Reddit haven't shut down the public (unauthenticated) API endpoints (yet).
This was fixed on lemmy.wtf
a while ago but apparently this was still an issue on lemmy.world
which now has been fixed:
https://lemmy.world/post/1421693
The
docker-compose.yml
I copied from somewhere when setting up lemmy.world apparently was missing the external network for the pictrs container.. So pictrs was working, as long as it got the images via Lemmy. Getting the images via URL didn't work...
Note: This only fixes new posts. In order to fix old posts you need to edit/save them once.
It's a good idea to have a set of normal (orichalcum) gathering tools on your characters by default so that you just need to double-click on the shared slots to swap the unlimit tools in and out. And you are not "naked" (in front of a orichalcum node) in case you forgot to swap back the unlimit tools on another character.
To me it seems that the Community here is growing slowly but steadily and so far it appears to be a much more friendly place than I remember r/guildwars2
to be.
All (at least one of each on each of my 2 accounts), but most are Female Norn followed by Male Charr and Female Sylvari. The Main on my primary account is a Female Norn Necromancer/Reaper and on my secondary account it's a Female Sylvari Necromancer/Scourge.
Finding good looking (other than heavy) armor for Charr is actually quite difficult. My Charr Ranger is wearing an almost complete set of Accursed Armor which imho is one of the few medium armor sets that works on Charr. What kinda pisses me off about Male Charr is the "new" muffled player character voice and that mounts look generally too small for them. Otherwise Male Charr especially in heavy armor could easily be my favorite characters in the game. (Guess who is my favorite NPC in the game.)
My Sylvari are wearing mostly racial or Nightmare armor, because I found these to be the only sets which actually fit the race. But then they look awesome.
Finding armor for Asura is also quite difficult. But I noticed that pieces that in my opinion look too flashy or clunky on bigger characters often work quite well on Asura.
From all races I find Human to be the most boring to play Fashion Wars with. I agree with the following statement I remember reading on Reddit a while back:
Norn Females (as opposed to Human Females) look like they actually eat once in a while.
Chunk of Ancient Amergris still sells for almost 2g each (was a lot more at EoD launch, of course). From my experiecne you can make roughly 20g per hour just from fishing. Very low effort but also very boring after a while ...
