I didn't say "not have a choice" though. I said people are likely tired of others making the choice for them, whether it be minority or majority. Especially when individual choice is possible.

I mean he's always been like this, it's just getting worse.

Before Donda passed, he already had the infamous "George Bush hates black people" thing and already ran up on stage at the EMAs to say he deserved the award, not the winners. I'm sure there's plenty more documented exmaples , and in those days, the spotlight wasn't on him 24/7.

I think most people are tired of others making choices for them, rather than explicitly being in favor of federating with Threads.

It's wild how many YouGov polls hit the front page of Lemmy. Regardless if you like the results or not, the polls are worthless trash that means nothing.

I mean... This isn't that rare in Utah? Last year was wild, but besides that, this is pretty par for course the last 5 years, and not out of the normal for the last 5 before that. Especially not having snow sticking in the Valley..

Don't get me wrong, I'm probably going to bail on Utah soon because how fucked this are getting with the climate/droughts/air quality... But this year isn't some wild leap

Ha shit, one of those ads must have popped up and made me jump that paragraph or something. I really did read it and didn't see that the first time through

I mean, you can read the article. I don't see that quote anywhere.

But you also kind of implied "it's fine if it's not true since it's plausible" that's more what I was commenting on

Damn, we've lowered the bar for journalism to plausible?

Huh, guess I might technically live in a food dessert

low-income census tracts that are more than one mile from a supermarket in urban or suburban areas and more than 10 miles from a supermarket in rural areas.

Nah, that's more like confidentiality... They still sleep after they forget they work.

I think Severance would probably be easier to sell if they can't remember 8 hours of work each day, but still get to be awake for the next 16 hours.

Pretty convenient it's always a nameless generic bad guy for the actual bad guys though.

True.

But do you believe the actual people commiting the genocide and manipulating Facebook shouldn't be held accountable for their actions?
