The Apple Vision Pro has Pro at the end of its name for a reason. Apple made a decision to start this product line going after the high end. I do completely agree that $3500 is out of reach for most casual users, but I also think Apple is going to sell every single Vision Pro they can manufacture . First year sales numbers for this product should be every interesting.

Yes, the Vision Pro safe area limited to 10×10 feet for VR experiences. This is not a hardware limitation and can be adjusted via software as Apple sees fit.

I’ve been using GPTk to run Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on my (M1 Pro) MacBook Pro. I used CXPatcher to install the GPTk files into Crossover. It’s been a great experience so far.
I’ve seen people print some impressive parts, but this is the first time I’ve seen a replacement for a block of wood.
Apple dev tools are always receiving updates, I would have been surprised if this were any different.

Yes, also wefwef has been having a lot of issues specifically with lemmy.world. I have accounts on three other Lemmy instances and have only had issues there.
Things have gotten significantly better over the past day though. Looks like that big lemmy.world update pushed this morning has helped quite a bit.
I’ve also seen others hopping on other instances of wefwef out there.
