Is it a good idea to run windows in VM with gpu passthrough (nvidia RTX) for certain games, instead of dual booting? in c/[email protected]

I've been running a setup like this for years without issues. Only the initial setup was a bit cumbersome, specifically getting it to work with just one GPU. Ran two for sometime before I got it working without issues though

How many users could you host on a self hosted lemmy instance? in c/selfhosted

I think it depends heavily on how much storage you're allocating, if you allow uploading media that is. From what I've understood most of the bottlenecks are in DB operations so CPU and memory definately play a role.

Agreed, my 1080Ti is still all I need.

Duplicati for Windows, Linux and macOS securely backs up directly to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, WebDAV or many other locations in c/[email protected]

I use duplicati together with backblazes cloud storage and have been happy so far.
