I think I saw a post about a similar effort yesterday, combining your efforts could be beneficial.
I think I found that project (linked in the README now), it’s in Rust which I’m not very good at writing and it seems like we have slightly different approaches. I think it’d be good to work on both and see how things pan out, ideally this would be an interim solution as bots and clients move to using the Lemmy API directly
