In general, using iri add-ons as well as other rarities are usually just to change up your gameplay. It's not really meant to be used at a certain interval like higher rank but when you want to have fun with a unique play style/enhancement. The game doesn't tell you whether or not the other side will bring overpowered tools or equipment so you cannot preemptively attach these add-ons to counter them. It's best just to use these as a fun diversion over than to rely on these add ons to win!

I like the new killer! I feel like they're actually going to be interesting to learn in comparison to the knight or skull merchant. The new map is visual vomit to me unfortunately. There's too much to look at and I feel like it would be better suited for an adventure game where you can take your time to observe your surroundings. Since dbd is an asymmetrical game where two sides compete against each other, one is essentially encouraged to go tunnel vision on the survivors and ignore the visual aspects of the map.
