When do you use Iri add-ons? (lemm.ee)

Title. I'm relatively new to the game, only a few weeks in. I can see the power of Iridescent add-ons (silent bell as Wraith?? Woof!), but they are so expensive and rare I have no idea when to actually use them. I'd "save" them for an important game, but... it's always just random opponents, so I have no idea if the Iri would be good or if I would stomp/get stomped either way and it's a waste. Curious to hear from people who do use them, when do you decide to do it?

In general, using iri add-ons as well as other rarities are usually just to change up your gameplay. It's not really meant to be used at a certain interval like higher rank but when you want to have fun with a unique play style/enhancement. The game doesn't tell you whether or not the other side will bring overpowered tools or equipment so you cannot preemptively attach these add-ons to counter them. It's best just to use these as a fun diversion over than to rely on these add ons to win!

But in actuality thanks, I think this is a much better mindset to have. Rather than worry about optimizing, just decide every so often that I want to be OP and have a good ride
