I simply use Joplin subnotebooks. I have one for home cooking and one for brewing beer. Markdown works well enough for me in terms of portability and readability. It also syncs between my devices, so I have several copies of my recipes.
For home brewing, I have written a few scripts that convert BeerXML to Markdown for easy importing. I create the recipes in my home brewing software (currently Kleiner Brauhelfer), export the BeerXML file and convert it to Markdown for secondary storing.
I am old enough to remember the Jurassic Park hysteria. The movie itself is not too bad, but IMHO, it did not live up to the hype.
Happy 1st of April to you too, OP. :-)
No flame intended. Quick question though - out of curiosity: what is specifically your use case for podman?
not having to change habits later.
If everybody thought like this, we would still be banging rocks together.
I am not sure about your use case, but IMO learning Docker first would be a good default. It is more wide-spread than podman. If you want (or need) to, moving on to podman would probably not be too big a step.
Here's a truly unpopular opinion: the book series Game of Thrones is overrated. Up until part three, the series was fun. The pacing was good, the story was compelling and the climax of the third part (not giving away any spoilers...) was as good an ending as one could expect. Then part four started with an entirely new set of characters, totally ignoring the current story and disrupting the pace. After slogging through that part, the fifth part was utterly forgettable. If there is (or will be) a sixth part, I will skip it.
I do not post comments that often, simply because I agree or disagree, but have no new insights to add to the discussion. I have seen too many 'me2' posts in my time.
I do not agree with the phobic part, as that would imply fear. The bigotry part is probably true.
I am not sure about the 'one of the best' part, but it is a great comedy movie. Disclaimer: I grew up on Tex Avery cartoons.
Is the Mask such an unpopular movie? In my own bubble, it is considered hilarious, so I am honestly curious on contrary opinions...
