I was an orphan at the time, but when I was putting myself through college I had food stamps and it helped me a ton with keeping me fed. I was fortunate to have that program available to me at that time in my life. I also worked several jobs at the same time.

I don't think so, but I'm certainly not an expert on the subject. However, I would think at worst you could hold it until you pass out. Once you pass out, your body would no longer consciously be purposely trying not to breathe, and you would then start breathing before you regain consciousness.

Logically that's how I think it would go, at least.
