That's my favorite part! I was able to get a username that seems to be banned on Reddit

I joined r/aiaita right before the reddit implosion. The page was very transparent about every post being AI generated and the writing style usually had a very obvious "tell", but it was still surprising to realize just how effortlessly you can generate a stupid post and rack up silly points for it.

Hasn't Musk also laid off like 70-80% of Twitter staff?

Forget power users and mods. Shouldn't Reddit worry about their admins jumping ship before it goes down? If Steve is copying Musk's playbook, there's no way he would skip that "crucial" step, so they might as well get out now.

No they are not.

Not an expert in the matter, just do not want to take cold showers.

I downloaded a virus in high school computer lab. I was looking to download Chrome, and Google pushed a scam Chrome link to the top. I still have no idea how or why it happened.

Back when I was a prolific Reddit karma whore (years ago) it was the best way to get free points for doing absolutely nothing. No purpose otherwise.

Limitless was such a good TV show - funny with great character dynamic. I watched it on Netflix and thought it was a glitch when I got through the last episode of the first season and nothing else came up. It was another victim of CBS chopping decent shows to keep on dreck.

Hannibal and Dead Like Me get mentioned every time this thread is made, but for good reason.

I still can't believe they cancelled Arrested Development after 3 seasons and never made any more.

I think Breaking Bad left off at a perfect point. El Camino succeeded at something that most sequels don't - adding meaningful closure for something that was left open-ended on the original show, while remaining faithful. Most sequels come off as a desperate money grab, and will invent nonsensical problems while failing to maintain original characterization, dialogue, and overall quality. Enough people wanted a real ending for Jesse, and it was only natural to write a conclusion for him (which imo still maintained Breaking Bad quality.)

I'm using old.reddit and once they get rid of that I'm gone!

He was banned BECAUSE he was badmouthing Reddit. Some of his subs were participating in the blackout and he had pinned some stuff about it. I thought it was very interesting.

At least one of the super mods (turtle) joined the protest, which I thought was really interesting. I'm not sure if she fell out with administration, or she was never paid in the first place.
