We walk around with our salads because we completed our tasks in less time than it takes the three outliers to do theirs. Get good, martyrs.

They're just going to need more people in general, so they can let us die sooner and replenish the workforce.

Kinda makes me want to leave my career and get into private security.

Or your pizza to not have been carried on its side, as I learned. That was actually when I quit getting any food out. Tipping is a broken system, and fast food shouldn't be eaten anyway.

Except Comic Con is rare, and they don't have to take down their "gun show this weekend!" signs here in Iowa because that's every weekend, or so it seems.

Agreed though. I was actually worried about what maga might do if Harris won, so I made my first purchases before the election. I had to provide ID, enter some personal identifiers into a website and be approved by a federal agency. It took an extra 30 minutes or so.

Yeah Mullvad is coming in pretty steady on that front.

The number of people still mad at Biden...

I work in a college financial aid office, an one of my responsibilities is outreach to former students whose loans are in delinquent or default status. This is the only part of my job that makes me want to quit, but that's besides the point.

The number of people who rant about Biden forgiving random people's loans but not theirs, or forgiving student loans of celebrities and athletes (that's apparently a talking point for these people?) is staggering.

I like to remind them that 1) Biden did try to offer sweeping forgiveness of 10-20k, but he did not have the authority to do so on his own, so he acted with the authority he had, and 2) now Republicans have full control of the executive and legislative branches, so we can wait to benefit from their plan to help students. I get crickets on that last point.

My primary use is photo editing for a photography hobby. I shoot wildlife and upload photos to iNaturalist. I shoot sports for a local junior college and an adult baseball league.

I don't watch a ton of movies, but it also serves as my Plex server. I leave it off unless I want to watch something though.

There are games on it, but I rarely get that itch anymore. In my teens and 20s, 1000 hours a year would have been a slow year. It's probably more like 0-100 a year now.

Yep, these people have "morals," if you can call them that, that are quite malleable. We're putting together a team of useful idiots who will be led by the most useful idiot of them all.

Well yeah, and now he's taking this move from Putin's playbook for Greenland. He's at the "people in Greenland would rather be US citizens" stage. Putin did the same thing in the beginning when talking about the territories in Ukraine he wanted to take.

More perennials. We've carved out space in the back yard for a row of raspberry plants. We've also cleared some wildflowers (RIP) for a self-pollinating cherry tree. It's going to have to overflow into the front yard if we want to keep adding.
