Have they added ray-tracing yet? I've been waiting for that to play it

Sure, but an expansion would have to be a lot more than a couple of new races, there’d need to be a whole new story arc, potentially new areas to visit, lots of new conversations that would need to be written and recorded. Not many people are going to come back just for a couple of new races, they want more to experience. Races could be DLC, but not a whole expansion by themselves
oh neat then, I'm still using the TestFlight version. Surprised to hear that updates are as fast as they are then
I imagine once it’s released on the App Store, updates will slow down due to Apple’s approval process, it’s just not a priority for them to approve updates right away
I don’t think people are expecting one already, but you would usually expect the studio to at least have started on an expansion by the time the game itself releases. If they haven’t even started on one yet, that means any expansion is likely a couple years away at least.
Not sure, I haven't used wifi-based headphones before. I just know I don't notice any audio latency when using APTX-LL supporting headphoens/adapter that I've noticed when just using regular bluetooth
As long as you use headphones and a bluetooth adapter that both support APTX LL (low-latency), it's instantaneous for me. Same as using it wired.
I would probably recommend a Series S if you're looking for something cheaper, plus is it's a current system so you'll still get access to any new games that come out, while with the One X you'll be limited to older games.
From what I’ve read, the boomerangs ps3 controller wasn’t actually dumb at all. It was apparently extremely comfortable to hold because of the way it curved into your palms and the placement of the buttons and sticks felt really natural. But the poor reception to the look of it basically bullied Sony into reverting to the classic DualShock layout.
I’ve actually not gotten any sort of advertising about it from Instagram/Meta, be in the the app or email or anything. I’ve only seen the tech blogs and people on twitter posting about it organically, so I wouldn't say they're aggressively pushing it, at least right now
OneX has been around for a while, their main competition up until the release of the Steam Deck has been AyaNeo and GPDWin. They do make some solid systems, but they've (all 3) traditionally been a lot more expensive than SD and Ally have pushed the market.
