I guess that's what I'm getting at. What are the odds of 6 attacking players having a goal drought at the same time, and what are the odds that overspending on a 7th won't just have the same outcome?

Seems to be a lot of links to Joshua Kirkzee from Bologne. His stats aren't the best in the world but he seems to be a pretty good striker in a relatively possession focused team that might suit our style of play, and he should be a lot cheaper than other options. I just don't think he will magically score a million goals.
I'll say it again though. A striker who scores goals isn't going to fix our 6 other forwards and attacking midfielders not being able to put it in the net.
If Linux based handhelds keep getting more popular for gaming, to the point where they represent 5 or 10% or even more of the PC gaming market share, I feel like incompatible anticheats could spell the death of some games when competitors come up that are compatible with the platform.
I don't expect league of legends to die as a result of this and only this but surely it's a possibility. From the time I used to play league, I never really seemed to encounter any cheaters (or at least not enough to notice it) over hundreds of hours played. I really don't see the value proposition to adding it, where I can understand it more in a FPS/TPS.
Of course it's just as likely, if not more so, that the deck and similar platforms are just a phase, or that a windows based handheld takes the market by storm.

Interesting take on our last three games I saw: Arteta's tactics in our last 3 games have been wins if you look at xG and we should be blaming the players for not scoring rather than him.
I don't really blame him personally, I don't know how much a manager can do about players not scoring when looking at the players he has available to pick at the moment. You could say we shouldn't have signed Jesus or extended Nketiah and we should've spent more money on a better striker but I don't know who is available that would've been a good move? Sure, we could've not signed Rice and had 100 mil for a striker but I really don't think that would put us in a better situation. We can't just blame our strikers. Martinelli all of a sudden can't score a goal, for example.
Idk. It's a bit of a shitty situation we're in because this season we either win the league, or we've regressed/stagnated in the eyes of a lot of fans. I just don't think it's a fair assessment. I didn't expect to come second this season and while I was hopeful we would be the strongest team this year I can't say I'm surprised that it's not all sunshine and rainbows. We are only 5 points off the top, city has won from 8 points behind at Christmas.
Not to mention, our players are still young.

I love the positive mental attitude Arteta has. Pundits love to go on about him whinging but I really don't see it. It's been maybe 3 or 4 games in what, 4? years, that he's come out of criticising a particular decision or something, but he always otherwise comes across as very forward thinking and optimistic.
Completely agree that it'd be good to actually know someone megarich. I think that's one of the biggest problems in modern society, that people don't have enough opportunities to interact with those outside of their immediate social spheres. I think if the megarich had to interact with normal people (and vice versa) we would all understand each other much better.
I guess I do agree also that no one is entitled to a rich persons money. I guess to go back to fairness though, I find it unfair that there are people going without basic human needs in the same countries as there are people figuratively hoarding piles of gold
