I really enjoyed T Kingfisher's The Twisted Ones (2019). According to the author, it's based off of a story (The White People by Arthur Machen) that freaked Lovecraft out.

I just added this one to my TBR! The synopsis reminds me of a shorter Three Body Problem (which I really...liked? I'm not sure that's even the right word for that series lol).
The Deep by Nick Cutter.
I'm not sure if it's a case of hindsight, but I finished reading this right before the titanic sub incident and it definitely unlocked a new fear.
Yes! Towards the end of winter my plants are looking rough and I keep telling them, "X more months guys!" because my house doesn't have a good amount of sunshine.
Saw it for the 1st time last October. My kid absolutely loved it and wants to move to Chicago to see it more often.
this is Pierogi poor Ozman's little sister.
I've heard of the white cat issues too! I think it may have to do with the blue eyed gene too, but Ozzy has green eyes.
Nope none of the above! He can hear his can of food being opened every morning and definitely sees when his "little" sister wants to cuddle with him on the couch.
I haven't seen a movie since 2019 (Frozen 2) but that's just because the experience isn't worth it to me anymore and that's kinda sad. I miss midnight showings and horror movies with large groups of people.
A Dirty Job is one of my favorite books.
How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix.
Not a whole lot of spooky stuff happening so far, but I'm pretty happy to be an only child.
