I LOVE the floor tbh but yeah maybe just like purple highlights on the cabinets instead of the entire thing. It's giving me circa 2005 decorating my sims 2 home.
I'm just as angry as the next guy but I'm not gonna shame my boomer mom for not being able to figure out pirating or how to stream things to her tv. Could barely get her to figure out her tv man.
Idk if this is an effective life hack but I've seen a few instances where just appealing makes things go away (whether they were warranted or not).
Just last week I had a friend appeal a ticket just because he didn't realize it was paid parking, they let him go as a first time incident.
My partner has appealed 3 tickets on separate occasions and gotten away pretty scot free (twice, a typo on the ticket and once the cop showed up to the appeal and told him to donate some money to charity in lieu of forcing him to pay the ticket). Most of the time it's more effort for them to fight you on it, so you might as well try ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I thought they just meant because it's paid parking not that they didn't know how to park. Many jobs I've had have paid parking, which is bonkers to think you're paying to be at work but such is capitalism.
The best cheese curds are the squeakiest. I think this debate is a Canadian v Midwest American one but either way if someone wants to deep fry my cheese curds before putting them on my poutine I'm not gonna argue that heart attack.
Yeah my first thought seeing this was "oh that person is gonna get killed if they send the cops". Glad you had some smarts there. There have been multiple indigenous people killed in wellness checks in Canada as well in recent weeks.
A book that stuck with me for a long time was The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It was a fairly quick read too, I'm a slow reader so definitely longer than a day but I think I read it over a short vacation.
Had to check myself cause my brain wanted to say "maybe some of them got in there for the right reasons", which, idk maybe but the incarceration system is garbage and ACAB in the end.
