I don't think YOU understood. You fabricated a scenario that doesn't exist "AOC making a nazi salute", and then claimed that nobody would have said anything about it, therefore it's a double-standard.

You conjured an event out of thin air, and then claimed your imaginary event that never even happened was proof of an existing double-standard.

Now if AOC ever does an Elon and makes a constipated face while smashing her hand to her heart and grunting like a pig while thrusting it straight out in a nazi salute... twice... and nobody says anything... see, then you would have a point.

Trump got 74 million votes when he ran against Biden. Why is him getting an additional 3 million more votes this time hard for you to believe? There's roughly 244.7 million eligible voters. Statistically, half of them are average or below average when it comes to brainpower.

There was a huge disinformation campaign to keep as many of the 84 million Biden voters at home as possible. Many trolls posted here constantly: "both sides are the same", "I ReFUsE to VoTE GENOCIDE", "I'm voting 3rd party/green this year!!" and so on.

In 2020, there were 80.9 million eligible voters who didn't vote.

In 2024, there were 89.2 million eligible non-voters.

They didn't need to cheat, they just spent crazy amounts of money filling democratic voters with pure distilled apathy.

Then I guess NO movie can be called original, because at a minimum they begin with a written screenplay, so that screenplay is the ORIGINAL work in pedanticland.

And here I thought the grammar police were bad.

A solid dude? He voted for the guy who incited a coup attempt, mismanaged the COVID response, and spews verbal diarrhea daily. I hate to say it, but they called it right for this guy, we don't need people who are that stupid in government.

The TV show THE APPRENTICE was filmed and edited to portray Trump as a MASTER OF BUSINESS. People who worked behind the scenes of the show have commented on some of the stupid decisions he made, and how they were always covering it with edits to make it look like a wise decisions after the fact..

Poor Ronald Reagan, his battle against the evil empire was lost by his precious Republicans. I bet Satan works in updates showing him how dedicated Trump is at glazing Putin's knob.

A glazed donut is a pastry with a shiny coating of sugar covering it. The basic idea is that if you put someone's body-part in your mouth, for the purposes of this discussion, let's call it a "long finger", when it leaves your mouth, the wetness gives it a shiny look like it was glazed.

So to say you are glazing someone would mean you are such a fan of that person, you would be willing to make some parts of them really, really shiny with your mouth saliva.

Each time I visit a reddit link and see the word "Deleted" in OPs post, my heart fills with joy.

Reading his words really slams home which side of the political spectrum truly believes in personal freedom and liberty. And it's not the side that promotes fascism and wants to implement a Christian version of Sharia law under the Ten Commandments.

I suppose you are going to tell everyone that Dune was based on a book the next time someone compliments the pacing and direction of that movie?

The poster art for Arrival says it's based on a story by Ted Chiang, it isn't some secret nobody knows but you.

What does being original or not have anything to do with what the original commenter wrote? MOST movies are based on previously existing stories. They were focusing on the movie. If you read the book and want to show everyone how much more you know than they do, it would be more impressive if you had said "i read the story the movie was based on, and comparatively, ". It might have even made for an interesting and productive comment.
