If you're on Proton to be privacy-oriented and stop governments or corporations from accessing your data, do you really trust the company when their CEO is cozying up to an authoritarian regime? I just don't see Proton fighting any information requests from Trump right now, and just from a utilitarian perspective that makes them a bad choice for me as a user.

Their Swiss CEO decided that supporting an authoritarian American neo nazi regime was a good idea

I mean that is why the new reddit page is so less information dense and image-heavy. The app also implemented swiping to get you to mindlessly scroll through memes, often into algorithm-recommended subs you're not even subscribed to. It's all an attempt to move the average content toward low-barrier slop thats easy to consume and pad their engagement numbers.

You need an android TV or an android box similar to a Roku to use that? Not super familiar. Any recommendations to be compatible with my current non-smart TV?

Still need a good strategy for blocking ads on my TV. Mostly watching YouTube through a Chromecast so I can control it from my phone

Ah my mistake, they didn't praise the fascist - just the fascist party. Big difference.

There are far too many illegal immigrants to jail them all and actually turn them into forced labor. The goal is to put enough fear into them that they accept slave conditions without having an actual overseer. The fear also spreads to legal but at-risk immigrants like H1-Bs who see the strictness of the immigration system and learn not to test it by fighting their corporations.

Unsurprising that a right-wing Trump supporting company is now attacking a tech that poses an existential threat to the fascist-leaning tech companies that are all in on AI.

Okay but then what was the alternate winning strategy? The whole world was undergoing massive inflation, the US actually did better than basically every other country. There's no way to turn around a global pandemic followed by unprecedentrd global inflation in short order. Egg prices went up because of avian flu and culling but no one wants to hear that. What could democrats have run on instead?

Is there a way to completely disable thumbnails? They show up even in dense mode.
