they're probably going to make 5k a year for 6 months a work for 30 years from 11 episodes of 1 show. they might be owed more, but there is a ton of missing context around this that passing judgment on what could be a simply outdated contract from before streaming was a major consideration. if this is just a fraction of what an equivalent contribution to a show would have made from TV reruns or home media sales, then there is a conversation to be had, but no one has brought that up.

It's 3k to a few of many writers for 11 total episodes. We don't know the actual streaming numbers of those exact episodes either. Could they be paid better? Maybe, but no one has compared this to the traditional residuals they did get.
This would cause a global epidemic of suicides and unrest. When billions of people lose their faith, the don't take it very lightly.

It just makes the underground more tedious since you have to dig around anyways. If you could get around without having to dig and build constantly, and just play it kind of like a dungeon crawler, it might have opened an alternative way to find resources. but it's just more walking around an unlit cave, half filled with water, fighting for uiur life to get what looks like diamond from a distqnce but turns out to be somtbing else once you get there. If there was another level below all the holes that was just blocks and ore, that might let both things exist at the same time.
The problem with world gen is that now it makes these massive holes underground that makes strip mining extremely annoying. You either make a bridge across 100+ blocks of dark cave, or round around said cave lighting it up and looking for ore. It's just exhausting and you don't even get coal while you do it.
No you didn't. You claimed they said all of the boxes were infected with malware and that is objectively false. You're not going to actually watch the content and simply dismiss all of their problems with rooted android devices from strangers thousands of miles away in a jurisdiction you have no recourse in, then none of your criticism is valid.

okay. but every game launcher you have is web based. all the software management for my server is done through a web browser. the amount of time i spend in web based programs is many magnitudes more than the time i spend in software that is using other systems. even the games you play have web based interfaces for their ingame stores and other social/news features.
