These people would earn orders of magnitude more in the for profit industry.

I would really like to retain them given that they are clearly doing a pretty amazing job

These millionaires may or may not do anything for Wikipedia.

They don’t make profit, there is no risk of “over donating”

Otherwise you don’t get all operators being able to read your messages, all the vulnerabilities of SS7 (so not only your operator, any random dude with experience can read your messages)

So many advantages!

But it is compatible with iMessage that it is what really matters, really 😂

Awesome list! Much better than a list I would make 🙂

I would just change slightly the “What can I do to help?” (That is a call for a “nothing”) to “How can I help?” (That shows much more enthusiasm in wanting to help)

The App Store was there since the first gen. Steve jobs announce already included it and there were dummy apps like pretending to drink a beer from the iPhone. With the iPhone 3G they changed the SDK in a way that either you released apps for the first two gen or for the newer generations that made the fist two generations almost useless (planned obsolescence you said?)

Then they need to find advertisers. This is the hard part. Advertisers are familiar with the platform and tools of YouTube, having them to submit ads in other platforms is where the for-profit video hosting becomes tricky

Every action involves a reaction.

You cut taxes? What will be lost? This is not an exception.

Half million people that have literally nothing to lose (even a prison may be a safer place for them) is quite an army. Desperate people are famous for doing desperate things.

This will not end up well and not only for the homeless

As long he doesn’t win he can run as much as he wants

What do you mean with that?

If flavors don’t incentive addition, why do you think manufacturers are pushing back? Why there is a black market?

[–] diffusive 4 points 1 month ago (6 children)

Why not?

Your comment sounds whatsboutism but I buy it! Let’s ban flavoured alcohol too.

Prohibitionism doesn’t work because a black market emerges but as long the limitations are small enough to not have a significant black market, it is fine. Blocking flavour in vapes/alchool hardly will create a new Al Capone
