I had a dream when I was about 10 (I'm 48 now) that stuck with me... It was dark, I was in the back garden of our house. I remember looking in the brightly lit kitchen window. I turned round and there was a suit of armour behind me. I knocked on the helmet with my fist. Then, suddenly, the helmet visor opened and bit down quickly on my knuckles. That's it, that's the dream.

Great stuff! I've been using Alexandrite for the last few weeks and it's become my default UI. I love that you can pin the navigation bar open and favourite communities (click on the icon to star it).
Awesome game. If you want to delve even further back into the X-Com lineage, check out Chaos, and Rebelstar Raiders 1 and 2.
You know, I've been using Mastodon for 10 months and I'd never noticed the Explore link! My interface even has the fresh, dismissable help text at the top of that column! :D
All of the ones in this post, plus a Java version on phones, and various re-releases on modern consoles and retro compilations.
On which platform?
Blame fat fingers rather than lack of knowledge for that one ;)
Yeah, the Spectrum does put up a good show in static screenshots... but don't be fooled. It's a clunky old stinker when it gets in motion.
Wait, hold the front page! There's one more to consider... and, predictably, it's probably one of the best.
I don't know much about the Sharp X68000, but judging by this version of Final Fight, it certainly knows its onions. By which I mean "ports". Because this looks and feels pretty much identical to the arcade. Same everything. It almost doesn't feel like a port in the ZX Spectrum sense. It doesn't feel compromised in any way.
You know, it's somehow less fun playing ports like this. They're just effortlessly wonderful, so it's hard to find anything to write about them.
As such, I'm still giving the port of the week to the GBA ;)
That seems to work really well. I logged in as a few of my accounts and was able to navigate around, interact with content etc. Confirmed that profile information is isolated and doesn't spill over between them.
I'd second the above request for different hues per account, just to make it more obvious which one you're looking at. Otherwise, this will be an awesome addition that will make lemmy.world's regular afternoon breaks more bearable ;)
As a diehard desktop user, I seldom use mobile clients other than for brief looks. However, just got back from a week long holiday where I used Sync exclusively for my morning scroll - and it was was brilliant!
My one remaining quibble is with the way that links in comments are inexplicably a couple of font sizes bigger than surrounding text. Anyone found a setting to change that?
