Having repurposed my XS as my business phone for now, it feels almost brand new again now I’ve reset it and only keep a few business specific apps on there. I was charging it twice a day while it was being used as my daily driver, but since the switchover I’m having to charge it twice a week! So it may simply be too many apps demanding too much system time.

I upgraded last year from the XS to the 14 (didn’t go for the pro as the photos are good enough for my uses on the regular phones). Loved it ever since. I’m a fairly long term owner though, went from the 6s plus to the XS.

Update my watch series 1 to the 7 around the same time.

You underestimate the laziness factor.

I’m a mortgage adviser, and the amount of people who don’t update their address with their bank or on their driving licence astounds me, some for years.

We have a client who still has their maiden name on their bank statements - they got married over 10 years ago.

That would be the thin

R2 is a navigation droid, so presumably keeps a record of everywhere he’s been for audit trail purposes. He’s also (up until that point) never been memory wiped unlike C3P0, so having part of that route erased is a big change from previous canon.

The map in Ahsoka isn’t necessarily a map to Thrawn specifically, someone else mentioned it being a map of migration patterns but equally it was mentioned in the episode that some beings travelled from another galaxy to the main Star Wars galaxy in the past. Morgan may just be assuming that’s where Thrawn was taken by the purrgil as they roam all over, so the map may be a bit of both migration patterns and a record of where the travellers came from.

Hopes and dreams in physical form!

Am I the only one thinking social media apps shouldn't be on a work device anyway, unless you're part of their social media team?

I’m in this conversation and I don’t like it.

Not anymore, the city had them take it down.

11.5 years here, and was using Narwhal to access on mobile.

Whilst Narwhal seems to have worked out a deal with Reddit to keep going, albeit having to charge in the near future, after all the bad blood caused by everything going on and the uncertainty of whether or not some apps would continue I’ve had enough.

As many have said, the community here seems tight-knit and feels like they really care about things which isn’t something I’ve seen on Reddit for a long time.

Long live Lemmy!
