I get like a few notifications a day, mostly just ntfy notification from all my autotion script telling me was something successfull or watchtower thelling me what docker container was update so that I know that it is cause of the update that something started behaving wrongly.

Everything else I ignore with passion, even have notification sound's and vibration turned off for specific app's so I don't get sound or vibration even if my phone is on full blast. Help's a lot.

Only take note from official lineage os site on compatibility.

You could try divest os or /e/ project.

You could also try getting stock android on the device which doesn't have any google services ( android by itself is free and open source after all.

Don't regret it.

All you need to do then is to reinstall the system if you can access the bios, I have seen there is another comment that names you the steps needed so please reffer to it.

I mean the devices bios.

After installing everything worked correctly, or you didn't use it till today and just realised it didn't work?

If you used the device for some time nad it just now started to give you problems, did you have any updates or have done or deleted anything?

Can you enter the bios?

is that a new install you can't access or an older one?

Yes it does, most privacy concious people ( means they also want google out of their life ) choose pixels because of their hardware features.

Do people really have so much music that it's get's hard to just keep it backed up?

What I'm saying is that if I already have hardware to make one my self, why pay for it?

Edit: also some people just can't afford to payfor streaming services
