Seasonal work is the kind of work 90% of the population in the country bere does, it's literally the only thing available here. That's why 95% of my friends and people my agre group left the country to search for careers. Because here to get started with a carrer you either need to have cosmic level of luck of habe somebody who will get you in.

I plan on leaving the country myself to be able to actually pursue a career but because of some circumstances I'm not able to atm.

Here it's the kind of living space where at 40 with 20 years of working years you get barelly any disposable income.

Here it's the fact that the difference between income of somebody who just starts and somebody who has been working at the same company is so small you could think it's a rounding error.

EDIT: Example being on my last summer job I was getting higher wage than a person who was working there for 27 years.

I recently started something similar using bookstack as the software behind.

Still severely lacking in content but am willing for anyone who has time and something interesting to write in it as long it's connected to tech, preferably linuc and open source software.

Here is the link and if anyone want's to contribhte I'm more than willing to accept a couple editor to grow the content on it.

You guys get disposable income?

On a serious note, here it's very hard to get to a point to get any disposable income, unless you stay living with your parent's all your life and never get married, ...

This is the main reason why I'm now able to actually afford a used ps4, physical manga and be able to finally buy games, especially indie one's without the guilt of pirating them.

NOTE: I'm 20 and have been working since I was 18 seasonal work since that's mostly all you can find here, even if you finish university/college so I just skipped that part.

Tell that to my whole country.

Where I live, living with your parent's is cheaper and better economically even your whole life, after getting married, having kids, ...

I have cousins where 4 generations of familly live together in the same house with no issues.

"Pršut" is one of my favourite food. We mostly eat it smoked. But beware, it's salty af so you either eat bread with it or keep 4 liters of water close by.

That monitor is bigger than my desk lol.

That's "PRŠUT" not bacon you blind fuck's.

Edit: I'm croatian and what we usually translate as bacon we usually call "slanina", while we call "pršut" usually what's in the pic.

Used to not monitor at all, but after setting up crowdsec I got completeky into prometheus + grafana system resource and security monitiring on my dedicated hetzner server.

I also keep uptime kuma on another cheap vps to monitor the states of websites directly for issues and I have seted up watchtower to send ntfy notifications on updates so I can know an update is the one fucking everything up.

Recently also setup restuc backups so I made it so I also get backup health check logs as ntfy notifications on my phone, which really helps me keep everything runnig.

What I really need to also do is create prometheus/grafana alerts for additional things to get notifications on my phone for them also ( like when crowdsec starts to randomly not get any more acqusitions, so I have to restart it. Once passed over a week before I looked at grafana and caught that ).

Note: this is all a hoby, I also don't host anything at home out of a couple reasons, most important being internet and hardware is expensive af here so it's simply cheaper for me to play around with vps's and hetzner dedicated servers.

Just add in syncthing in your stack and you will get keepass with the benefit of syncing directly between devices in a p2p matter.

I have been using this combo for almost 2 years now and it's better if you ask me than using vaultwarden.
