Out of curiosity, why do you think it wouldn’t work?

It makes the modern workplace a very easy and pleasant part of society to exist in /s

I suppose this is public information, but it feels more like targeting a specific individual than gives me the warm fuzzies. It’s normal for a large nonprofit to have paid positions to coordinate with donors and such.

Very cool! I had no idea this was a thing! Very up my alley - I’m going to dig in some more, thanks for sharing

I am a relatively new Yunohost user, and I’m a big fan. I’ve dabbled with Docker, but I’ve never been quite able to figure out how to make it work. Yunohost took the hard part away and made it pretty easy to set up.

That said, I don’t view it as a long term solution for me. I don’t like not really knowing entirely how it works, and I’ve had issues trying to configure the reverse proxy to connect it with a domain name. (I purchased one from Porkbun, which is apparently not supported.) Until I learn a little more, though, I like it.

I have recently become more aware of and generally interested in electronics and amateur radio, and it got me thinking. What advantage, if any, would there be to having amateur radio experience, over a simple disaster crank radio/flashlight, in the event of a major natural disaster or some other emergency that leads to a longer delay in power being restored? For the sake of argument, let’s assume you have a generator or battery bank to supply your own electricity.

Maybe made to feel othered via bullying as a kid, so voluntarily isolated in their teens and early twenties?

If so, then yeah, I can certainly see how that would stunt social and emotional development

Yes! One of my favorite episodes of one of my favorite podcasts! Might be time to listen to em again

It is a good one to get started with! I’d also recommend the episodes on the Diggers that John Darnielle is a guest for

Chumbawamba wouldn’t sell out like that!

I’ve heard this a lot - is it just a common joke in privacy circles, or is anyone using Tor/Tails actually likely to be on a list?

A roommate’s girlfriend rummaged through my drawers and took some small bills and change from my dresser. My roommate sided with her, saying it wasn’t a big deal.

Our friendship soured, I got a new lock for my room that only I had a key to, and I set up a security camera on my desk. She never did do it again after being caught, but it made the rest of the time I lived there not particularly pleasant. I always felt slightly on edge, keeping an eye to make sure nothing had been moved or taken.
