Citizen Sleeper is an excellent example of this, if you haven't tried it out. Not a simulation per se but it captures the feeling quite well.

Yeah I can see that, its most often children and teenagers that have enough spare time to waste on youtube and spout nonsense in comments all day. Adults do it on twitter where they can tune in and out over the course of the day, lmao.

Isn't something like 80% of youtube's viewer base under the age of 18? I swear you can really tell by what's being written in comment sections. Especially the cringe inducing ones we see here in SRS. These aren't fully formed adults with actual insight into anything.

Cuba, Vietnam, China, the Soviet Union, and plenty more, but I have a feeling you don't know what you're talking about.

Does Chinese folk religion count as paganism? It's the belief in several gods, or a pantheon, that constitutes a pagan religion. Its confusing what counts and doesn't, but It's likely because "paganism" is a European term which only really fits for their dichotomy of "one god versus many gods".

I am fairly certain when they say Paganism they were talking specifically about European paganism, such as in old Norse and German culture.

funny enough it's mainly the French influence that did this to English, it was pronounced a lot more like the way its spelled before that.

Does Lemmygrad have an official statement on third worldists? Are they considered more as Ultras or Reactionaries?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 9 months ago

I'm guessing Pakistan got promoted to Hybrid Regime after the pro US coup last year?

I think we know all we need to know from "CCP", doubt they've got anything insightful besides whatever "vibes based politics" they can produce out of nowhere.

I apologize, I didn't see your name, mainly just read your comment. It's a force of habit for me online to use "they" for anyone online. I don't mean to use "they" as an assumption of one's gender or preferred pronoun, its just force of habit grammatically in my speech where I am from. Although I must admit it's a little sad that when I try and educate someone on their own reactionary terminology I myself end up on the receiving end. Shows everyone's got something to learn.

Was curious if there were any quotes that we'd like to share.

It's pretty hard to find anything from Stalin for example that isn't blatantly made up to demonize him.

The attitude from the wider western world on the thousands upon thousands of stolen cultural artifacts in this museum is beyond disgusting.

I have seen no end of Brits online claiming that they're doing the world a favor by hoarding these items for "safekeeping" because the developing countries they were stolen from are not responsible enough to safeguard their own culture. With the death of the queen, the discussion around the monarchy and its stolen jewels also follows these imperialist talking points.

"We stole these jewels from others who stole them as well, so we have every right to keep them." is the go to line.

Who made them the keepers of the world's treasures? What gives them the right? Ask any of these questions and they instinctively will point to the destruction of cultural artefacts in Afghanistan and Iraq by terrorists and looters, WHO ARE ONLY THERE BECAUSE OF WESTERN MEDDLING IN THE FIRST PLACE.

How do we deal with these types?
