Let's be honest year of Linux desktop won't happen until more company's sell computer with Linux already installed most people don't install their own OS this is why Windows is so popular until that is fixed by preloading Linux on more systems I don't think it'll happen.

So a former home office employee of Walmart it is what's left after the name brand run it is what isn't up to snuff for the name brand that is why off brand vegetables have more stems and stuff etc in them.

I just tested it on android it does backups in the background for me on android 14 as long as I have it unrestricted on app battery usage if it's restricted it won't upload in the background make sure you have it unrestricted so it can run in the background.
Wish more newer pixels could get support I have tried and failed many times outside of my skills unfortunately.

Yeah that is a limitation of iOS because Apple is so aggressive with background tasks most photos apps don't upload in the background unless you only use iCloud.
