Imagine how bad it feels to have those idiots as neighbors. I moved to this neighborhood around two years ago and I was really happy that there were no visible trump flags/signs around. It’s nice that everyone can keep their politics to themselves. In the last year, somehow that changed and there were a few signs put up here and there, but in the last month, they’ve multiplied and now they’re on multiple houses on every block. I don’t understand how anyone can see what’s going on and still feel compelled to go get a sign and put it up…unless they’re just trying to put up the scariest Halloween decorations. Now the nice neighborhood I moved to two years ago looks like election headquarters for someone who tried to overthrow the government four years ago.

When his base refuses to hold him accountable for anything he says, he can say anything he wants.

The CEO of my company is there because he is the owner’s rich friend’s son; definitely didn’t work his way up through the organization like they’re saying.

It’s good to see the system working like it should for the free press for once; they made a terrible decision and they’re paying for it. Now, if we can just collectively turn our backs on all the disreputable sources and start promoting the reputable ones, we might fix a broken system.

I’d imagine it works for some people, just not the ones you’d want it to.

I can’t remember him ever making a true statement to begin with.

Yeah, that’s a good point; my brain is never prepared for the irrational conspiracies these idiots cook up. I would think that without trump, the whole momentum behind him would just die off, but who knows what would happen if Vance then just starts saying that the democrats poisoned his Big Mac and assassinated him. I’d like to think that only the die-hard crazies would still be motivated enough to vote for Vance and the rest would just stay home.

If only we could be so lucky.

The article quotes the sheriffs dept as saying that they stopped an assassination attempt; the media is just reporting what they said. So, it sounds like the sheriffs dept are just inflating the issue to make themselves look better, which will give the trump campaign more fuel.

They found him with a shotgun and a handgun and they think they stopped an assassination attempt? Sounds like bs; you’re not going to get close enough to use those unless someone really messes up at their job.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. The single origin makers can guarantee that it’s collected ethically though since they get their cocoa from one source, which is something I didn’t see in the John Oliver segment and had also sworn it off. I haven’t looked into it much past the one farm I went to in Hawaii that I’ve been happy to buy from recently, but I do think there are others that can guarantee it.
