I agree ! I played two headed giant at the prerelease, I had a solid blue-green scry deck and my friend played a red-black goodstuff pile.

First round we played ended in a draw because we were still at like 20 life each when the bell rang. One of the opponents was missing a color, but the other one had [[Butterbur, Bree Innkeeper]] and [[Horn of Gondor]] in play, which allowed them to make food and chumpblockers for ever.

Second round went quick, the other team had unlucky draws while we had very aggressive starts.

Third round we played only one game, but it lasted 45 minutes and we got to play [[Smite the deathless]] on [[Witch-king of Angmar]] which was pretty cool.

I am currently working on Mogis, god of Slaughter rakdos enchantment "everything hurts" decklist. I'm having trouble actually winning games, but I really enjoy being "the problem" !

As far as LotR cards go, Spiteful Banditry will be the main addition to it. I'm also picking up Fiery Inscription for my izzet spellslinger deck.

Here's a list of low mana value enablers : Daemogoth Titan has 10 toughness for 4 mana, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis 8 for 4, Gorm the Great 7 for 4, Jungle Barrier 6 for 4, Wall of Ice 7 for 3

Scholar of the Lost Trove ?

It would let you play Last March for one mana less as well as provide a five toughness creature, which isn't a bad deal. You just have to find a way to get Last March into your graveyard.

[[Spiteful banditry]] and [[Orcish bowmasters]] for my [[Mogis, God of Slaughter]] rakdos enchantment "everything hurts" edh deck. Having a boardwipe on an enchantment is great for devotion, and punishing opponents for drawing cards is always fun.

[[Fiery inscription]] for my [[Veyran, vice of duality]] izzet spellslinger edh deck. Another [[Guttersnipe]] effect is always welcome !

[[Mirkwood bats]] for my [[Elas Il-Kor, sadistic pilgrim]] orzhov aristocrats edh deck. The mana value seems a bit high, but pinging opponents on token creation and sacrifice should be quite effective.

Nethroi, apex of death seems like an obvious choice for creature reanimation. You can also try Anikthea, hand of Erebos for enchantment reanimation, which can get pretty staxy.

I don't like it. I find it hard to remember which abilities are granted to the ringbearer. It didn't have much on an impact on the games I played at the prerelease.

TheNeedleDrop's weekly track roundup on youtube is my go to when i want to hear something new. Checking upcoming shows at music venues around me also works wonders.
