The new LTR card [[Last March of the Ents]] is an excellent Green "Ok I'm winning now" curve-topper. I doubt it'll see much play in Modern or anything (though I'll be happy to be proven wrong!) but for Commander/Historic Brawl where you can actually cast an 8 mana spell, fantastic.

I'm a huge fan of [[Verdant Rejuvenation]] which is unfortunately Arena-only (though it would have been so easy to make the paper version [[Majestic Genesis]] on par by making it actually reveal until you get X nonland permanents). Last March of the Ents seems like an excellent sidegrade/possible upgrade depending on the deck.

I'm thinking I'll run it in [[Tiamat]]. Cast Tiamat, then next turn you draw seven and can drop all the fetched Dragons in one turn without them being able to be countered. Any other decks that would be particularly synergistic, besides just high-toughness?

I mean, let's be real, it's green. In Commander, the tough thing will not be to cast this, but to cast (and keep) something with significant toughness on the board at that point. Magical Christmas Land hands could cast this turn two if they wanted to.

I think for (mono) green, the bigger issue will be to stack enough high-impact creatures (i.e. Craterhoof) near the top of your library.

That said, I'll probably run this in my Omnath deck (Locus of Mana, but the others can use this just fine), just for another payoff for mana hoarding.

Definitely curious what people will build with this.

Can't recall the name exactly but Sphinx of Lost Trove(?) pairs pretty well with it.

Sphinx of Lost Truths?

Any high toughness creature that gives you card draw would be great to play before it, yeah. Ooh, imagine casting either Kozilek card, then follow it up next turn with Last March to draw 12. Or, like, Griselbrand, but he's banned in the only format you could really use this in (big sad).

Scholar of the Lost Trove ?

It would let you play Last March for one mana less as well as provide a five toughness creature, which isn't a bad deal. You just have to find a way to get Last March into your graveyard.

Aha, that makes more sense than Sphinx of Lost Truths. That's not bad, yeah.

Might be overkill, but you could cast Last March, use it to put Scholar on the battlefield, then Scholar triggers and you get to replay Last March for free. Pretty sweet.

Here's a list of low mana value enablers : Daemogoth Titan has 10 toughness for 4 mana, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis 8 for 4, Gorm the Great 7 for 4, Jungle Barrier 6 for 4, Wall of Ice 7 for 3
