my biggest tip is that if you're on ios get wefef. great app that makes the lemmy experience beautiful and seamless.
when you read a comment from c/all from a community you want to join you can click on the community c/link to see all the posts from that community.
then use the three dots in the app at the top right to subscribe. soooo much easier than trying to search for a community from the web ux.
and i guess the other tip is to just manage your expectations - reddit wasn't built in a day and it'll take a while for all of our niche communities to create new homes here ๐ฅฐ
great looking pickes - do you by any chance have a recipe?
really nice color combination! i've got some bright yellow thread i bought on an impulse and you've inserted me to go use it -- so thank you!
hi and welcome! i'm 1 month old here and also love it. great community, good conversation abd spez is slowly fading into the rear view mirror little by little each day.
hopefully whatever you were making with that sour cream will survive the beef rawhide replacement ๐คฃ
think i may have lost the plot - isn't the instance you're thinking of lemmygrad.ml not lemmy.ml?
really nice! may i please ask what printer you're using and whether you'd recommend it?
welcome to you and everyone else coming over! looking forward to great shenanigans.
crunchy chichen tacos shallow fried in a fat iron skillet. add cheese after frying then top with shredded lettuce, cilantro and the guacamole they sell in the cold section.
delicious cheap and fast to get on the table.
the other thing i do if i'm feeling really lazy and don't want to cook is shred & add to a costco caesar salad
brian lagerstrom on youtube is in high rotation in my house. he came from kitchens and researches his recipes really well. my only quibble is that his delivery style is a little frantic but easily solved if you crank the video speed down to 90% or grab his recipes directly from his website
i'm in california and think it's obligatory i make this recipe this week - thank you!!
