Runick Muskets is a deck that has been kicking around for a while - here's my take on it. Morganite is absolutely crazy in this deck. The extra draws are relevant, hand traps aren't missed too much because you have the Musket cards/Runick Fountain, and the Muskets let you get value off the Morganite right away (which is otherwise one of the card's biggest weaknesses).
A few notes:
- Muckraker goes crazy in this list. You generate so much value that the pitch for cost to resummon a Musket feels like nothing. The protection is useful too.
- A lot of lists don't run Magical Musket Wild, but I was always happy to have him, especially in the grindier matchups. Recycling a Max or three of your interrupts can win some games on the spot.
- Dweller comes up surprisingly often, as does Chaos Angel.
This is too quick of a movement towards defederation. Except in the most extreme of circumstances, it should be up to individual users whether they want to engage with other communities, and users can always block communities they find objectionable. It is not in the best interest of users to treat them as being incapable of making their own reasoned decisions about this kind of thing.
Fortunately, thanks to the wonders of the fediverse, I can just make a new account on a different instance and start engaging with Lemmy that way. Anyone have any recommendations on alternatives to lemmy.world?
