I am by far not an expert on this matter, but my understanding is that if people started becoming vocal about that, it's because most people did not really care or know about the situation until Oct 7, and were bathed in a swarm of news articles since then. It's hard not to have an opinion on something you know nothing about when you hear about it daily.

Depends on whether you define a crime as a "legal" bad action or a "moral" bad action. While the latter may be problematic, because anyone can have different values, it is still widely considered a bad thing to kill people who did not do anything.

I am seriously considering moving to a Linux distro once Windows 10 support is over. I already use WSL extensively and am tinkering with Debian servers, so I am starting to know my way around.

However, the biggest fear I have is regarding games and drivers: will I be able to play games still, even in VR? will I encounter that horrific problem of "Sorry, your GPU doesn't yet have a driver for this Linux distrib'"? How should I research this topic?

The only downside I see with LePotato is that it has no SteamLink client (for now). Otherwise, there are plenty of OSes made for it. I have one SD card for CoreELEC to watch things on the TV, and one with Batocera for game emulators.

I was going to make a "Disgusting! Where?" joke, but then I read the article... That's heinous
