Totally fine for California to have all that data though...

I don't think the sharing part is really the issue here.

They wouldn't be conscious for more than two or three minutes, so the heat and causticity wouldn't matter much.

The risk of anything whatsoever happening to any given individual from nuclear is miniscule compared to the very real risk to literally everyone everywhere posed by coal and gas power...

We're all on a runaway train barreling towards catastrophe, and you're essentially saying the bathroom needs a floor mat so someone doesn't slip and fall. That's about how the risks compare

A jellyfish that size would eat humans...

Done a lot of swimming in the keys, plenty of jellyfish, every now and then i got a little sting from one, it's kinda like getting bit by an ant or three, not a big deal, and despite my complete lack of aversion to them, this is still terrifying... :)

Fuckin bullshit... If you or I, any normal citizen, wins a punitive judgement, the courts will do absolutely fuck all to collect it for you.

This should be the standard for ALL damages imposed by ALL courts for * everyone*, not just a special case because it's everyone's favorite fucking oompah loompah.

Costs nothing to pass a full ban, but none of the smaller economies do...

Populations in those smaller economies can't afford the larger sin/luxury taxes you find in the US/UK/etc, so those governments won't have seen a big dent in their budget when those millions of people stopped buying cigarettes.

The countries that did see a dent in their tobacco taxes are all the ones pushing bans.

Look no further than the states who haven't pursued vape bans, and the evidence is clear. What you'll find in those states is taxes on vape juice, in a thinly veiled attempt at reclaiming some of the tax revenue lost from tobacco companies as people switched en masse.

Vaping law isn't about kids, it's about taxes...

Pretty sure the actual centrists are providing this all the sensible chuckles and golf claps it deserves...

For the first time, federal guidelines explicitly include asphalt art projects as part of the roadway design tool kit that can be used on city streets.

Why exactly should this be a federal matter anyway?
