For bigger networks, I always went with 10.0.0.0/8 for endpoints, 172.16.0.0/12 for servers and other back-end services, leaving 192.168.0.0/16 for smaller networks like OOB IPMI (eg HP iLO, Dell iDrac) services, cluster heartbeat connections, and certain DMZ segments.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Teams "Operator Connect" provider which will do a single number for a single user? Ideally, either a British or Irish phone number (and most calls will be made to these countries, and a few to Germany, Spain and the Netherlands).
Ideally, I just want something I can fill in my details for, not have to talk to sales reps, and not have a minimum number of users I need to pay for (it's just me).

That's what I was wondering. It's doing a SELECT, but not saying exactly which columns it wants to retrieve.

I also use ClamAV, but only in specific circumstances, such as when a Linux server will be hosting end-user files. Perhaps a SAMBA server with a file share, or a web server which accepts user uploads.
In those cases, I might want to have it monitor the relevant part of the disk, but I also need to make sure my web application won't fall over when the file it just accepted is unceremoniously ripped away from it. You can test that out using the EICAR file as your payload.
On a jump box, I might also have it turned on for scanning user home directories, by including /home, and then excluding any home directories for applications and daemons which might not deal well with having their IOPS nuked or delayed.

Maidenhead is a town in England. It is situated in Berkshire. This is emphatically NOT in Kent (you're thinking of Maidstone), nor is it in Somerset (that's Minehead). It is also not in New Jersey (that 'Maidenhead' was renamed to 'Lawrenceville' a long time ago). If I had a penny for every time I invited someone over, and they got lost on the I-95...
Maidenhead is situated on the River Thames, the M4 motorway, the A404 Marlow Bypass, and the Elizabeth Line, on the railway between London Paddington and Reading.
Maidenhead is also home to the A308(M), which is one of the shortest motorways in the world.

Yes. Mid 40s UK. I have never owned an automatic vehicle, and it looks like there's not much in the way options when it comes to electric cars with manual transmissions.

Since the original PlayStation in the 90s, I have never owned a Sony product that didn't disappoint, or just outright fail.
My wife had a Sony video camera. It broke in a little under 2 years. My Sony car CD player just one day decided to refuse to eject a CD. A place I worked at had Sony Viao laptops as standard, and were forever replacing PSUs and screens. I looked at buying a Sony smart TV, but looked at their forums first, and decided the firmware/software was so full of bugs which were never going to be fixed, that I'd be better off with a CRT display and a VHS machine than whatever they were selling. My brother had a Sony digital camera, which one day, decided it just didn't want to power on.
I wouldn't buy anything Sony if I expected it to last longer than a month.

I think we need to address this not just at individuals or corporations, but at nation states in which those individuals reside and are licensed.
We need to kick them in the wallet. Allowing rampant pollution? Extra trade tariffs, and exclusion from various international groups/events. Complicit in rampant pollution? Punitive economic Sanctions, and loss of access to certain technologies, financial networks, etc.

Thanks!
I might give Edge another look. Our work corporate standard machines are MacOS and Chrome, and a heavy sprinkling of Google Apps. I might give it a go on my home stuff, though.
I used to like Opera until it went Chromium. The performance seemed to tank after that, and it was using waaay more memory than before.

Interesting. In what ways is Chrome worse than Edge? I have to admit, I haven't given Edge much of a chance. I primarily use Firefox, except for work things (we use Google apps at work) which I've been told to use Chrome for.
I can't think of Edge without imagining it as some sort of unkillable Internet Explorer zombie that just won't die. Is it actually better than Chrome?
