Maybe English isn't their first language. I never heard of the phrase before. TIL.
Zeshade
I think it does, and it seems to work because of a defrosting feature that earlier models didn't have. But I wouldn't say it does so very clearly. Unless I missed it.
The other reason I was initially confused, but reading this thread helped, is that by presence of bones in the cave they don't just mean that there aren't any bones lying around, brought in by cavemen or bears dying in the cave. They imply that the cave is basically not accessible normally and what would be found in it (bones, fossils etc), if there was anything, can only come from the time when those mountains were formed. I think... Maybe that was obvious for some people.

Effectively it's a more general version of it. Not specific to words and not specific to the why we feel this way. You're right it's not the same thing. But I meant that it's another way to name the effect you're experiencing.
"Jamais vu" is another term for it.
The envy of the world? I mean it was always good system in principle but most countries in Europe are doing ok I think.
Hello I'm using Connect am I allowed here?
I feel completely disconnected... do you mean that zoomers are prude compared to previous generations (I didn't know that) and that's because of the fear of getting caught on camera for making saucy jokes/comments?
It's pronounced more like "a-shi". Obviously we don't pronounced the first "h".
