Haha we'll be moving next year and I swear, a proper shower is high on my list of demands! European landlords are fairly strict about even the tiniest structural changes. Granted, a shower curtain is negligible but as mentioned in another comment, our bathroom is tiny.

Ha I wish :( It's a drafty European flat from the 1910s, the bathroom is 1,5 meters by 3 meters and there's a so called "shame wall" between loo and tub that is a weird wooden privacy panel. A shower curtain would make this tiny room even more cramped unfortunately which is mainly why we never wanted to go to the trouble. That being said, its a nice place during the warner months!
Thanks didn't know that these existed!
Imagine my displeasure at having to shower without a shower curtain for 2 years. Never bothered to put one up bc I didn't think I'd live in this apartment for this long... I hate every minute of showering in the winter.
(Also, it's not an ADHD thing in my case, the bathroom is a weird shape that doesn't allow for a simple rod and curtain, I'd have to get a semi custom glass wall installed)
I seem to remember they found Scott's notes, as well as documentation, including photos (plates?) of them at Amundsen's abandoned tent when they found the bodies but can't find a source just now.
That's amazing! I'm sure there's loads of family stories?! Fun fact, I work at an archive and recently researched Amundsen's North Pole expedition and the flying boat he used, very impressive story despite them failing to reach the pole!
Amundsen, the one that succeded in the race to the South Pole lived by a great motto: You only need good luck if you didn't plan properly. He was a true adventurer with a sharp mind, shame he disappeared on a rescue mission.
The sled dogs were eaten too, if I remember correctly.
I'm always so sad seeing the Scott expedition photos knowing that these guys in this image were doomed. THe British crew would have felt so horrible spotting the Norwegian flag at the South Pole, after what they went through. I've read the accounts and went through these beautiful images, it's so harrowing to know their fate.
Yes, Marc Rebillet, specifically the early live streams are fun if you don't mind the swear words! But yeah, early 80s are great for jammig out too, I love mindless, erratic dancing!
Ooh I love doing that! We always put on Loop Daddy while we're cooking dinner and I usually dance and hop around more than I cook. I totally agree, this always lifts my mood!
I have a 3D printer at work, good idea!
