Prompt

I like to start my prompts broad, narrow it down, and then tweak from there. My beginning prompt is simply “an image of a fantastical steampunk ship with HG Wells feels on old-timey paper to resemble blueprints for the ship”.

Theme

Calling all inventors of imagination! Unleash your inner HG Wells in a steampunk-inspired masterpiece where gears, steam, and Victorian wonder collide. It doesn’t have to be a vehicle or structure; the only limit is your imagination.

Voting process

Everyone can submit their image to this post. At the end of the week all images will be collected and shared in a new voting post wherein people can vote on their favorite image. This will be up for at least 24 hours before a winner is made.

There are no extra points to be earned, OP will decide on a winner in case of a tie.

Rules

  • Follow the community’s rules above all else
  • One comment and image per user
  • Embed image directly in the post (no external link)
  • Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged but not required (we’re all here for fun and learning)
  • OP will declare winner in case of a tie
  • The challenge runs for at least 7 days from now on
  • Down votes will not be counted
  • Voting and final scoring will be done in a separate post.

⠀Scores At the end of the challenge the image with the most votes, wins! It’s that simple :) The winner gets to pick the next theme. As always, have fun everyone!

Both artists (Tribe Called Quest and Jungle Brothers) were part of The Native Tongues Collective, a groundbreaking and influential movement in hip-hop, formed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It wasn’t an official group but rather a loose affiliation of artists and groups who shared similar philosophies about music, culture, and life. They stood out in the hip-hop world for promoting themes of positivity, Afrocentrism, social consciousness, and artistic innovation.

The real problem here is the nostalgia factor. A lot of people grew up having the planets ingrained into their brains with various mnemonics. Hard to say goodbye to “pizza”.

I’m a few years older and also wasn’t diagnosed until my late 30s.

Welcome to the world of mental health medication. It’s a complete fucking mystery to even medical “professionals” which cocktail works for you, until you give it a shot.

On more than one occasion I’ve heard, “Try this one, if you don’t want to kill yourself or anyone else, it’s probably a good one to use. Otherwise, we can switch to another one with even worse side effects and see how that goes. How does that sound?”

Good luck! It’s a long journey, at least in my experiences.

Probably the MacBook sitting next to the ridiculous keyboard.

Even still.. I’ve seen devs do it with equally blank stares.
