That's really cool. I'm still pretty excited for lies of p. That game is pretty damn cool.
I'm always bopping around different games but this is one I usually always have installed so it's good to hear that the update sounds like a big success. I've never tried it multiplayer but I bet it's a hoot.
Barony is so so good. And it works really well on steam deck. Gamepad works great. I still have to try out this new update to see how the changes to relative selections works out. They listed that you don't need to be dead on with the cursor for contextual actions to work anymore. Such as opening a chest, or picking up items, that kind of thing. I bought this game a long time ago and it's such a sleeper dungeon crawler.
Yeah, I ran it mostly low settings, fsr and probably between 30-40 fps. So for tons of people that'd be a no go, but I was just excited to play it before I could get back to my rig.
Yeah two months ago, they basically had patched a majority of the week 1 disappointment. So for me, I had a fresh and reasonable experience. So many studios are releasing under optimized games and patching after sales start.
I ran it a couple months ago on a Ryzen 5600x paired with ab6800xt. Game ran brilliantly. I also really enjoyed it. I just didn't go in expecting it to be dead space. I wanted something new and a little different and that's exactly what I got. I was surprised I could even play it on steam deck.
People should buy whatever they want but I love my Niro. I can drop the seats and throw my bike in the back really easily and my commute is short enough that I've barely even used fuel the past 3 months.

I did not know that. I'll have to check it out. Thanks. This has been a very informative comment chain. 😅
As far as I understand, the wbe versions are very stripped down compared to their desktop counterparts. That's a great question though and one I should explore. When I actually spring for excel/365 I can check out the web version while on Linux and if it doesn't work, look into setting up a virtualized Windows setup.
I just played through it a couple months ago. Go for it. It's a fun game and if you have a nice computer or PS5/series x it looks amazing as well. I even played through a bit of it on steam deck. People have issues with it, but I thought it was a cool body horror action game. People also talked about there not being enough ammo early when it released but that must have been patch because on normal difficulty you start out with melee and very quickly have a gun and enough ammo to use it regularly.
So does this mean they are adding monsters to combat into the game? I always thought scum looked cool but I never knew how fun it would be as a solo player.
