.. How though? Where did they get any legal traction?

It sounds like OP wants to give opinions on what other people do to/with their bodies in a judgemental way. Many other comments seem to be about how it's so rude to be offended by those being told by OP that they are wrong.
I'm not trans and I don't understand ~~body dysmorphia~~ gender dysmorphia. Not everything is for everyone to understand. I also don't understand getting a bunch of tattoos/piercings, drinking coffee or alcohol socially when they don't like it, getting perms (they take so much effort to maintain), lots of things people do to alter how they view themselves or are viewed by others. I can, however, support those who do experience these things or want to change themselves to better fit who they want to be or who they view themselves as.
A lot of the issues learning to troubleshoot are surrounded around not understanding the problem/not understanding the system enough to determine where the problem is. Generally, if you have no idea what the issues could be, you end up trying a bunch of stuff and messing everything up more and people get frustrated you didn't ask for help sooner, or you do nothing and people get frustrated you haven't tried anything before asking for help. This may be a perpetuated problem if someone doesn't have the foundational knowledge to understand the type of system, or if it's just totally out of their wheelhouse and they don't have them mental capacity to try and understand any aspect. This can be seen when people have little to no understanding of: cooking and/or baking, car repair, computer repair, fruit and vegetable farming, sewing clothes or clothes mending, etc. we can pay people to do these things for us because there is so much complication in modern life most don't know how to do everything.
Many/most of the sales are not at a significantly lower cost than most of the time. Prices go up for a month or two before Christmas. For the sales, you might get a good discount on a single item in a store, which is when they expect you to buy other things too to make up for the single sale. Other times many things will be at slight discount, but they might at operating cost or much lower profit margin. You are expected to buy things which are not on sale when the sale is real, otherwise the price was raised for a while and only lowered for the sale. I have also heard that some things are made with lower quality for sales, so you may not be getting the normal quality.
I think they point of afternoon action is that it can partially replace networking, just as being a white man use to. Not everyone needs to do all that, some have connections made from birth, some have the private tutoring for all the exams so studying takes half as long and they have more time to do those extra curriculars that look good. Affirmative action replaces some of the connections left over from being related to a white man who was born to wealth who could afford good schooling.
Lots of really awesome people with comparable gpa and extra cuticular apply to the same top schools. This just made it so that instead of primarily accepting those related to someone else who was previously privileged, others could experience a top school too, all else considered.
Most people in my life seem to believe they require built up shoes with extra arch support and cushion for their knees/back/joints.
I also use to have knee and hip and back issues, until I started standing and walking with correct posture due to either no shoes or barefoot shoes. It actually started for me with just very cheap shoes without any support and very thin outsole and almost no cushion, not specifically barefoot shoes. The toe box stretched with my foot for those shoes.
I think the idea of having to build up foot muscle, and having walking take more energy is daunting. The people who I think would benefit the most are those who wear built up shoes inside too and are afraid of taking off their shoes even when they are just sitting.
Some people like being lazy, and walking is already a chore they must do. I've stopped trying to convince adults to change. I do suggest barefoot kids shoes though: Splay is pretty reasonably priced and if a kid needs shoes the parents can just get a few sizes at a time. I just promote it as better health for feet. I don't think anyone has actually gotten them though, they are still more expensive than the cheapest option.
Definitely not immune, it's just way less of a thing these days. It's also very person/culture (as in family culture, think about who else you frequently interact with who also doesn't do it) dependent; some are raised to not buy things they don't need, and toss or donate things they don't use. Others think they will use something eventually so they better get it on sale. It also could be less enticing due to the number of people and noise level.
Otherwise, if you were immune, you would never keep an eye for sales for anything.
Israel put people in jail for crimes which were illegal. Hammas kidnapped random people, many from a dance club.
Didn't the ceasefire call for 50 of the kidnapped civilians released?
I've had larger pieces that just didn't rehydrate while everything else is a wet mess. I'll use very hot water (our water heater is set to 180f) and vinegar, giving it at least a few days to a week to rehydrate. That's why I started trying to get everything into smaller pieces or even powder. I've had the fewest air bubbles with smaller pieces or powder. I think air is trapped in the clay that doesn't come out when soaking.
I worked at a deli and a woman came in. My CO workers were helping others so I nodded to her so she knew I saw her before I got new gloves on. When I turned around to get my gloves she fully goes into raging manic mode screaming, telling everyone how I'm a little expletive and I'm ignoring her and I'm awful etc. swearing the whole time. I was wearing a mask after COVID and couldn't get a word in. Random other customers who were there were coming to my defense, so she yelled and swore at them too. After about 30 seconds I just walked away and got the manager. I am glad I was wearing a mask because the whole thing was so surreal and amusing that someone would completely loose self control so quickly without a word stolen to them. My facial expression was probably not the regret she wanted to see, more shock and then adjustment, because this is the stort of thing people go gotcha, hidden camera for. Looking back, I'm very glad there was a larger counter display case between us, because her mood could have because physical very quickly. That customer was put on a watch list for the store, if she did anything out of line again she wasn't allowed back.
Use the anti monopoly laws we have in place to prevent price gouging from lack of competition
