I really wish they would and set a precedent for Nintendo's anti-consumer tactics.

Sometimes you have to be a bit more pragmatic. I'm not aware of any TV with HDR, Dolby Vision, OLED, etc. that isn't smart and reasonably priced. Your best bet is to buy a smart TV and block Internet access.

Another thing you can do is visit the selfhosted subs and they can help you out with other things like pihole for blocking ads and intrusive network activity on your home network.

The modern day "do your own research means find whatever supports your confirmation bias". However, I feel like there's a lot of discouragement against a healthy skepticism as well, which is... not healthy either.

I feel like I personally make up for a lot of other people's skepticism

New video game releases from Nintendo. I'm all grown up and primarily game on PC but I still buy pretty much every Zelda release and recently beat Super Mario RPG 2023.

Has it been more than one month since it's been out?

I'm going to put together a SteamOS system for my daughter with an old 3900X and RX480 so we can play side by side!

Making scrambled eggs from my sister-in-law's chickens and found one with a triple yolk.

Basically the title, has anyone gotten the Govee T2 TV backlight to work in HA? Specifically, I'm just looking for on/off capabilities.
