It might not scratch your itch but we have a cremposting community that could use more activity.

"The two vulnerabilities are linked to the router firmware’s AiCloud feature"

Unsanitzed inputs is bad enough but come the fuck on. Who thought any part of this was a good idea?

Neat. I feel like this is one area where bots are already good at it but maybe with just visual data to work with they might have to try harder.

I worked at a datacenter that wanted to change backup vendors, as we dug into the details we found out that the agent based backups needed an agent running on the machine to restore to and they didn't have a linux agent. Despite this obvious problem mgmt chose this vendor. It didn't take long before sysadmins were rebuilding linux boxes from scratch in the wee hours. I left shortly after.

Went to do a test restore of one of my databases and I noticed the dump files over the last few months were all 0kb. Glad I caught it this way and not because I needed to restore. Put it on your calendar, schedule a test restore of your critical stuff a couple times a year. I know y'all are busy but it is worth the time and effort. A backup you can't actually restore isn't a backup at all.

You may not like it but this is what an ideal skybreaker looks like.

Well the pixel 8 will be supported for quite a while, for now you've tried all the things you can but if you prevent it from updating maybe they'll publically patch an exploit you can use to gain root. I think Verizon in particular does this because they eat a lot of the cost for the phone and lock you into using their network, they want that cost recouped but since they're not legally required to unlock it after they recoup their cost they will do nothing. They should legally be required to allow bootloader unlocking after they stop supporting it but regulators are too busy inventing reasons for us poors to hate eachother.

No more merciful beheadings? We're going to need more spoons.

In case of stingrays, obviously.

Even if he bathes every day, can you imagine how sweaty that suit must get? He probably does smell like a gym bag.

Finally got to watch Deadpool and Wolverine. It was awesome, I'm still chuckling about some of the jokes.

I voted early and was curious to see if my ballot was counted, apparently you can use the mail in ballot tracker to check your status if you voted early, idk if it works if you voted today.

I just moved here from FL and this seems insane to me. Is this normal? They're going to get someone killed, the limit is 65 mph at that ramp. I wish it was like a one time thing but it's like every 3rd day I get stuck behind a different car that merges below 30 mph and then eventually will get up to speed a couple of miles down the road. Am I crazy?
