Have you tried amphetamine? I use that to keep my Mac from turning off the display or anything. I’m still on an Intel Mac, so not sure if it’s available on Apple silicon.

To add onto this, I’ve had an e-reader on my radar for a bit since some of them can do more of a night time mode, so I can read without the blue light of a phone keeping me up.

Does self-host have to be computer-based? I would self-host a whiteboard with some dividers on it and get some cute magnets. Have something on the wall that the kiddos can look at when they walk by and be proud of and also to get them off the damn tablet for once! ( I don’t have kids)

I don’t think this would apply to Nintendo. You can buy digital switch games through legitimate channels that are not owned by Nintendo, such as Humble Bundle.
