Joe Thiessen, superintendent and CEO of the division, which manages public schools in Steinbach, Niverville, Landmark, and the rural municipality of Hanover, said the EAs have to be let go due to a funding shortfall related to changes in the application process for Jordan's Principle programming.

All 93 EAs being laid off were specifically working with Indigenous kids, Thiessen told CBC Manitoba Up To Speed guest host Emily Brass on Thursday.

He blames the situation on miscommunication from the province. Recently, the funding model shifted from a provincial one to a federal one, which the Hanover division was not aware of.

"This year, the Doctor will tell you the answer to that question you’ve been asking since you were a small child," Moffat proclaims. "The solution to the longest-standing mystery in not merely the Doctor Who universe, but the universe as a whole. Watch on Christmas Day!"

This is guaranteed to be something very silly.

A regeneration is cool, but I hope they go fairly minimalist with it. I like the more...explosive regenerations of the modern era well enough, but I don't think they need to be retconned into past ones.

Tawny did a guest spot on the Greatest Trek podcast recently, and shed a little more light on how this thing came into being.

Apparently, it was Paramount that was pushing to get a Trek sitcom off the ground, and Alex Kurtzman wasn't sure it could work. But he mentioned it to Tawny, and she rode for the idea.

Yeah, "Ronald B. Moore" was just seen on the holodeck Okudagram in the original episode. It may not have been legible in the pre-remaster version of the show.

I'm not a fan of things like colourisation, but at the same time this is kind of cool?
