Wow, trying to sell North Korea is almost admirable if it wasn't just an agenda.

Sure, living in a dictatorial hellscape labour camp must be so nice.

It's more like a participation trophy IMO.

I had the original one!! Everyone dreamed of the Donkey Kong foldable one...

Super boring BTW.

Well the remark was adressed to you.

You just had to make it about the USA for no reason. So yes, people do repeat meaningless stuff, but sometimes they do get called out.

Some pre work here if I'm not mistaken?!

Yeah, it's always hard to go further, good luck!

Nice coloring; no red or yellow in the distance, as it should be.

I'm at a loss at to what is their reasoning doing it.

It won't have any lasting effects except better policing of ships and cables?

Like a baby pushing the sleeping bloodlust viking, then they pour a glass of water on them, waking them up. Then trying to cut them with a pair of scissors...

Why?

Using old filaments (self.3dprinting)
submitted 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) by Valmond to c/3dprinting

Hello,

I put my homemade 3D printer in the garage when I moved 2 years ago, the filaments I had were maybe 2 years old and worked well.

I bulk bought them on aliexpress or maybe alibaba.

Now, the printer needs a refreshing, a bit of all kind of electrical & mechanical stuff and also figuring out how to run it from my new computer, and I wonder if I should buy some new filament so that I won't have to care about any old filament problems or what do you think? Is my filament dead or maybe ok?

Thanks!

Edit: thank you all!

I'll go with buy a new high quality one to get everything up and running, and then I'll check out the quality of the old spools. Who are stored open, but in a airtight box with a kilo of, now grey, alibaba deciccant pellets.

It's nice to have posts, but today there are too many to check out, and tomorrow they will sadly be forgotten.

Would it be possible to post more like one a day, that way the community will have time to interact with the pist, and eventually the game!

Cheers & keep the good work up!

I think I can say that the ruble is in free fall

Hello all!

My phone started to be low on "disk" space, and Connects cache eats up 23.5GB so I checked but couldn't find any way how to clear it.

So can you, without like uninstall+ reinstall ?

Edit: thank you rubber-🦆

F-Droid -> DiskUsage -> helps you open the correct config page to clear caches, super easy peasy.

Hello, I'm Valmond creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol & implementation.

To make it more motivating for people to try it out, what should I share to showcase its abilities? It can be rougly anything up to say a gigabyte.

I'm thinking about music, video, parts of wikipedia, ...

Legal of course.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Cheers & thanks!

Automod on lemmy world (self.asklemmy)
submitted 1 month ago by Valmond to c/asklemmy

Hello everyone!

Sometimes when I post on lemmy.world I get an automod post saying my comment was removed for civility.

Sure, maybe I treated someone a russian bot or a comrade, but I don't think I'm very un civilized, so I'd like to know what was it that crossed the line.

So I'd like to know which post was actually removed, is there a way? I'm on Connect and I have clicked all over the automod post without success... it just states a post was removed.

Also, I see no post being removed (could have missed that ofc)?

Cheers

Tenfingers sharing protocol (self.decentralization)
submitted 1 month ago by Valmond to c/decentralization

Hello and thanks for making this community!

I would like to ask a question, I'm the creator of the Tenfingers sharing protocol, and a decentralised FOSS implementation of it.

You can basically have a decentralised web site or share data with anyone.

Would it be appropriate to post asking for help here? Testing and ideas for the future mostly I guess.

Cheers
