I been told it was to big, but if you look at the Linux Kernel, it is huge.

People also love to say Unix, but Linux is not Unix.

Linux does not need to reboot, if you use KLP.

it means once all of this is added to the desktop OS you use, it will be plug and play for Nvidia GPU's.

Wait for Battlemage, the DG2 cards will not have full support with the newer drivers also BattleMage is coming out soon.
